How to get UI kits in Adobe XD?
So, when You open Adobe Xd, you will find many artboards. For Mobile, Tablet, desktop and you can even customize the artboard. Select any fresh artboard (Android, IOS, Microsoft, etc,.) and goto options and select files option. For Android, Microsoft, and IOS, you will find a difference in the Options Tab.
Above is the screen of Microsoft Windows which has options we have on top-left a dropdown button. When we click we will find many options in which you can find Get UI kits option.
Apple IOS:
There are options for UI kits like Apple ios, Material design, Microsoft Windows, and others. When we click on Apple ios, that will drive us to Apple’s website.
Above is the Apple’s website when we scroll down we will find different options like IOS, macOS, watchOS, and other. Here each of them has again subcategory options. They are download ios for the sketch, library, photoshop, adobe XD, etc,. Now select download ios Adobe XD and a file is downloaded. When we double click on the file downloaded, not only we get XD templates but also the fonts that come with this design template.
Microsoft windows:-
when we are designing for windows then we have to use other template designs. SO, when we select Microsoft windows, it will drive to Microsoft’s website.
In Microsoft’s page, when we scroll down we can find Adobe XD toolkit. When we click download, our file will be downloaded and we have to import it in Adobe XD.
How to Use UI templates:-
So, below is the example of a template design example. UI elements provided can be used for our project design.
we can select any UI element available. copy the UI element and paste it to our artboard. We can even make changes to it.
So, it’s a very nice way to reuse the UI elements provided by the websites. Instead of having to design the padding, spacing, and colors from scratch. Again these UI kits are very handy to work with.
