Types of payment in Google AdWords

So, for Google AdWords, we Have different types of payment. Present ( acc. to 2021) we have 3 types of payment in Google AdWords.

They are:-

  1. Automatic Payments
  2. Manual Payments
  3. Monthly invoicing

1.Automatic Payments:-

-In automatic payments, We need to give the credit/Debit card from which we get automatically charged from Card given.

Here in automatic payments, we get charged for advertising costs, monthly on the same date every month, if we don’t reach the threshold limit before that particular date or we get charged when we reach the threshold limit for the account.

( Threshold Limit:-The max limit of credit allotted to the account Ex:- Rs. 25000, is the threshold to the account, then you get charged when our advertising cost hits that 25000 )

2.Manual Payments:-

-In Manual Payments, We need to add money in the account, immediately the ads start running. In simple terms manual payments is prepaid payment.

Note:- In Manual payments If we add Rs. 10000 in the account then 18% will be charged for the GST i.e. Rs.1800 is for GST and Rs.8200 is for the ads. So, when we adding the money we need to add an extra 18% GST amount to the Account.

-Manual Payments is not available for new accounts in some countries.

3.Monthly Invoicing:-

-In Monthly invoicing, We get charged monthly for the advertising costs. But it is not applicable for the new accounts. There are certain Requirements that our account should meet to apply for monthly invoicing.

  • Our business needs to be registered in Google ads for at least one year.
  • Account should be active for a minimum of one year
  • Minimum of Rs. 37000 spent every month of any 3 months in 12 months.

So, When we create a new account for Google ads, Manual payments and Monthly invoicing will be not available until we meet the requirements.
